IUS NOVUM

"Ius Novum" is a peer-reviewed scientfic quarterly of the Faculty of Law and Administration of Lazarski University in Warsaw. It has been published since 2007.

The main editorial goal is to present opinions on the proposals of legislative changes, legal solutions passed, and the results of their retrospective verification. The scope of the journal is not limited to one or two branches of law but is a forum to exchange thoughts concerning law sensu largoThe thematic range of „Ius Novum” is broad and covers the history of law, political and legal doctrines, Roman law, civil law, criminal law, administrative law, business law, etc.

"Ius Novum"  gives the opportunity to present articles written by the faculty members of Lazarski University as well as scholars from other academic centres. We welcome both  renowned scholars and warmly greet talented beginners in the field. The journal aspires to be a platform for exchanging opinions for allwith something interesting and new to present. Materials are published in the form of articles, commentaries, reviews and reports.

 

The scientific journal “Ius Novum” has received funding from the Ministry of Education and Science as part of the “Development of Scientific Journals” program.

Agreement No. RCN/SN/0385/2021/1.
Amount of funding: 40.000 PLN.
Total value of the project: 57.354 PLN.
Date of signing the funding agreement: December 23, 2022.
Project implementation period: December 1, 2022 – November 30, 2024.

The aim of the project is to implement measures aimed at improving publishing and editing practices, increasing the journal's impact on the development of science, and maintaining the journal's international scientific circulation.

Information about the “Development of Scientific Journals” program is available on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science at: www.gov.pl/web/edukacja-i-nauka/rozwoj-czasopism-naukowych.

In accordance with the Announcement of the Minister of Science of 5 January 2024 about the list of scientific journals and reviewed materials from international conferences, Ius Novum was granted 100 points (item 30019, no. 200245).

Journal's contents are licensed under CC BY NC SA.

Authors are not charged any fees for the publication of their articles. No Article Processing Charges (APCs) apply.

We would like to kindly inform you that starting in 2023. IUS NOVUM Quarterly will be republished in two parallel versions, i.e., Polish-language and English-language. Accordingly, Authors of articles submitted for the first time after January 1, 2023, who are informed of the qualification of their material for publication, will be obliged to provide also an article translated into English.
In the case of an article originally written in English, the requirement includes submission of a Polish-language version at the same time.
Including self-translated material is a condition for publication.
